    6. trademarks for their application for protection in the Czech Republic and abroad

  7. Representing of domestic and foreign clients:
    1. in proceedings regarding patent application
    2. in proceedings regarding registration of an industrial design, a utility model, integrated circuit, an appellation of origin, trademark
    3. in maintenance of a granted patent in force
    4. in maintenance or renewal of validity of the obtained industrial rights and marking rights
    5. in contradictory proceedings with the Industrial Property Office
    6. in contradictory proceedings with the courts
    7. in licensing negotiations and unfair competition actions
    8. in administrative proceedings with customs offices

  9. Connoisseurship:


  10. PATENTSERVIS Praha a.s. is registered with the Ministry of Justice as an expert institute qualified for expert activities according to the Act No. 36/1997 Coll. about Experts and Interpreters in the wording of later amendments.

    PATENTSERVIS Praha a.s. was granted the scope of connoisseurship comprising patents, trademarks, industrial designs, utility models, licenses, appellations of origins of products, using, rewarding and appreciation.

    On the basis of the connoisseurship authorization PATENTSERVIS Praha a.s.:

    1. appreciates industrial rights, i.e. patents, trademarks, industrial designs, utility models or applications of said industrial rights
    2. evaluates rights for marking and industrial rights
    3. evaluates licenses

    Scope of the connoisseurship authorization:

    1. patents, trademarks, industrial designs and utility models, licenses
    2. appellations of origin of products, using, rewarding and appreciation

    11. Record:

    1. the first section of the list of institutes qualified for connoisseurship activities, kept by the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic according to the provisions of Article 21 (3) of the Act No. 36/1967 Coll. about Experts and Interpreters and provisions of Article 6 (1) of the Decree No. 37/1967 Coll. in the wording of later amendments
    2. appreciation of protected inventions
    3. appreciation of protected trademarks
    4. appreciation of other forms of immaterial property
